Privacy Policy Terms of Service Data Deletion

Privacy Policy

instatools · Last updated 23 August 2026

instatools is a private automation tool that replies to people who contact the Instagram account it is connected to. This page explains what data it handles, why, and how to have it removed.

1. Who operates this service

This service is operated by instatools. It is used to manage replies for a single Instagram Professional account. It is not a public product and does not offer accounts to third parties.

2. What data is collected

Data is only ever received for people who contact the connected Instagram account first — by sending it a direct message or commenting on its posts. Nobody is contacted who has not written to the account first.

  • Instagram-scoped user ID — the identifier Meta provides for a person who messages or comments. It is specific to this application and cannot be used to identify that person elsewhere.
  • Public username as supplied by Meta.
  • Message and comment content that was sent to the account, used to match the keyword that decides which reply to send.
  • Timestamps and delivery results — when a message arrived, whether a reply was sent, and any error returned.
  • Post and media identifiers for the content a comment or message referred to.

No passwords, payment details, email addresses, phone numbers, contact lists, or location data are collected. No data is bought from or sold to anyone.

3. Why it is collected

  • To send the reply that was requested — the sole function of the service.
  • To avoid replying twice to the same message.
  • To honour rate limits and opt-outs so people are not contacted repeatedly.
  • To keep a record of what was sent, so delivery problems can be diagnosed.

Data is not used for advertising, profiling, resale, training machine-learning models, or any purpose beyond replying to the person who made contact.

4. Where it is stored

Data is stored in a private database controlled by the operator, accessible only through a password-protected dashboard. It is not shared with any third party, other than Meta — whose API is necessarily used to receive the message and deliver the reply.

5. How long it is kept

Records are retained only as long as needed to operate the service and are deleted on request. See Data Deletion for how to ask for removal, which is actioned within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You may at any time ask to:

  • see what data is held about you;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • opt out of receiving any further automated replies.

Opting out is honoured permanently — an opted-out person is never messaged again, even if they contact the account later. Send requests to princekishorejiji@gmail.com.

7. Children

This service is not directed at children under 13, and data is not knowingly collected from them. If such data is identified it is deleted.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with an updated date at the top.
